The much awaited ‘New Moon EP’ by genre-bending duo Amethysts was released on November 17th through Tabby Tracks Records and Conch Town Records. The EP, which combines moody electronics and complex guitar melodies into an emotive journey, was painstakingly mastered by their live engineer, Tom Stanford, under the expert guidance of Alex Gordon (known for work with The Cure, Bat For Lashes).
They capture the essence of electronic, indie, and dreampop with their signature blend of guitar riffs, analog synths, and resonant basslines in this 3-track release. Every song has emotional depth, led by Clarice’s moving vocals, which range from soft whispers to soaring crescendos.
With over 750,000 Spotify plays and over 1.7 million Apple Music plays, Amethysts has received praise and numerous honors. They have appeared on stages with well-known performers like Nothing But Thieves and Anna Meredith, at events like BBC Introducing Live and Latitude Festival.
