Presenting Labasheeda’s latest album, “Blueprints”

Amsterdam-based rock group Labasheeda produces catchy tunes. Their most recent album, “Blueprints,” deviates significantly from other rock music. Eleven tracks on the album total 39 minutes and 12 seconds in length. Labasheeda creates a lovely and distinctive sound by utilizing a variety of instruments, including the double bass, cello, and marimba.

“Fossils,” the opening track on the album, is a great representation of the band’s sound. The violin sounds good, and the singer, Saskia van der Giessen, has a remarkable voice. “Closure,” the second song, is a little odder but still excellent. The music is interesting because of how much the rhythm varies.

“Sparkle,” the third song, is really lovely. The band’s musicians are top-notch performers who have good instrument playing skills. The final track on the album is “What Remains In Love.” You will cherish this beautiful song for a very long time after listening to it.

Even though Labasheeda’s sound is extremely distinct from other rock groups, it is still flawless. “Blueprints,” their most recent album, is a great illustration of what makes this band so special.
