PRVNA’s “Move My Hips” EP delves into the intersection of house and afrobeats.

Move My Hips, a captivating afro-house EP by South London songwriter and musical chameleon PRVNA, is sure to light up dance floors. With a pulsating four-to-the-floor kick drum and syncopated shakers, “All Day,” the lead single off the EP, sets the tone for an enticing groove that draws listeners in and draws them into its rhythmic embrace. The track gains a layer of liberation and an irresistibly sexy dance vibe from PRVNA’s vocals, which are a combination of seductive whispers and echoed calls. The whole thing has a very Alunageorge vibe to it, but PRVNA’s own style sets her apart as a distinct artist.

Along with previously released gems like “Move My Hips” and “Only U,” the EP also includes two brand-new songs, “Work On Me,” which is a smooth and soulful track, and “Fantasy,” which is a dark and fiery track. The musical journey of PRVNA is a rich tapestry of many genres and cultural influences woven together with uplifting dance music and a sense of tropical island vibes. PRVNA, who sees production as a storytelling art form and is rooted in her childhood landscapes and South London roots, has created hit songs like “Get Down” and “Believe,” which have gained praise from both the industry and fans.

PRVNA speaks on the project, “This EP has been a real journey to womanhood for me. The project starts with an almost innocence – delicate and pretty, and transforms into something dark and demanding- with bold and brazen lyrics. It is an invitation from me: to feel good, push boundaries, take up space – and if you can, move your hips”.
